Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Quarry Lake

We have been going to Lynnwood's for many many years and have always had wonderful meals. This last meal was disappointing for me because the ribeye sirloin steak was course and tough and not very good. My appetizers were wonderful. I had the crunchy oysters. the Caesar salad was delicious But my steak dinner and the cream spinach were blah. My wife's dinner was excellent. She had the beef tenderloin dish and a cup of cream of crab soup, which was also excellent. We certainly will be coming back, but I don't think I'm going to order sirloin or ribeye Cut of steak anymore 

We had the most amazing dinner last night. Our server was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. My duck was cooked perfectly as was my wife’s glazed catfish. The cocktails were cold and balanced. Our daughter appreciated the kids menu. Desserts were off the charts, especially the chocolate pots de crème with marshmallow fluff. It’s the best meal we’ve had in over a year.

The fish tacos were perfectly crispy, with fresh toppings and a delicious sauce that brought everything together. The birria tacos were incredibly flavorful—tender, juicy, and packed with rich, savory goodness. Both were absolutely amazing, and I’d come back just for them!

Everything was great. It was Valentines Day. The valet service was perfect. The hostess's welcomed us and took our coats, they were both cheery and polite. We were seated right away. Our server was Randall, first off, he has a great personality and man he knows his wine! Outstanding recommendation.....one of the best waiters we have ever worked with. The fresh focaccia was warm, and the sweet potato butter worked well with it. We split the beet salad, which was outstanding. The Swordfish was perfectly cooked, and the presentation was charming. The goat cheese ravioli was over the top good, nice and creamy but not over seasoned. My compliments to the Chef. We ordered the chocolate souffle as dessert (which you have order when you order dinner, it takes to make it from scratch), it will not disappoint...its paired with a raspberry sorbet. Great combination. Ask for Randall when you make your reservations. He's a really cool guy. The atmosphere was nice a welcoming, light jazz music playing in the background. The place was clean, neat and squared away. I thank everyone there for a wonderful evening.

Restaurant has a really cool vibe and decorated well. We went at 8:15 on a Saturday night and it took our server about 10 minutes to come take our drink order and food order at the same time. Drinks came about another 10 minutes later, and food about another 20 minutes. Food was great- decent portions and great flavor. A little pricy for what it was, but overall good quality food and fun atmosphere
