Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Land O' Lakes

We were excited to finally get a table reservation at CWs Gin Joint. The drinks and food were excellent. While the service was impeccable in general, from the moment we checked in to the completion of our dinner service, we were reminded three times that our table reservation had a hard time limit. Because of a prior experience, we knew about this expectation, but that didn’t make it any less disconcerting when the timing of the drinks and food service did not match the expectation of a reasonable amount of time for the customer to enjoy drinks, dinner and dessert. As we were enjoying the evening, time passed quickly. AFTER we ordered dessert and BEFORE it was delivered, we were told we had a short time extension totaling 11 minutes left to eat dessert and check out. Next time, we may need to set our own alarm to determine if there is actually time left in our reservation to order an after dinner drink and dessert. Nothing like having to throw back a premium pour. It was also interesting to note that as we left quickly, there were clean set open tables waiting for the next reservation. Not sure why we had to rush out so quickly when those open tables weren’t being turned around immediately upon being reset. I have to say, I preferred our prior experience at the bar (when space opened) where we didn’t feel pressed to leave.

We wished we lived here full-time because we would stop by every week. Thanks for an exceptional dinner of farm-to-table perfection. The service, plating, and execution were all harmonized for another memorable evening. We live in Manhattan and dine at all Michelin levels on every continent regularly. Rooster & the Till is one of our favorites of the world.

Outstanding service, delicious choices for dinner and a great experience for our family. We enjoyed the grouper, scallops and bavette with several exceptional sides. Our server Matt is always the best, taking excellent care of our needs. The Restuarant is beautifully decorated and the ambiance exceeds expectation. One must remember you are paying for excellent food and service.

We had a wonderful dining experience this evening at Sacred Pepper. Busy evening and we were seated in the Wine Room which is just off to the right of the Hostess station. Big comfy chairs and a roomy environment. The noise level was low considering this room is just before the lounge area when a duo was performing. The service was excellent our waiter was friendly, very pleasant, attentive but yet not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious from appetizer to dessert. Our favorite cocktails were crafted very well with a water glass that was never empty.

Our wait staff was great. Savana was excellent! Good recommendations, friendly and attentive! We have a family member who eats vegetarian and he loved the stuffed portobello. Our meals were delicious. Outdoor ambience was perfect. Could not have been better. Shared ice cream dessert of coconut and espresso chocolate was wonderful! Thank you for such a lovely holiday dining experience!
