Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Danbury

Excellent service with very polite, friendly and attentive staff who were very helpful in advising one of the party who had dietary requirements. We all ate from the set menu which gave a good choice of interesting dishes. All the food was very well cooked, delicious and well presented. The restaurant has a pleasant , friendly atmosphere without being noisy. Good value for money and very close to car parking. Can thoroughly recommend.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. We got the roast, the chicken one looked a bit anaemic but the beef was tasty. Live music playing which was a nice atmosphere. There were some dogs allowed in which didn’t bother us. Service was great in the beginning and then after we asked for the dessert menu, we never saw the server again .

My party was warmly greeted by Alex, he gave us great service throught our visit. Offered us opinions and explanations on dishes we were unsure of. Alex was very accommodating and friendly throughout. We also had great cocktails from Sergio who created drinks to our individual tastes and each cocktail was a hit. We had a great time and we'll definitely be back soon. The food is affordable, tasty and well portioned. There is a meal for all food preferences which makes it so much easier to have group meals here.

Pleasant brunch outside but our drinks came after our food , my husband enjoyed his Bills breakfast but our pancakes were dry but extra maple syrup was soon brought up! The gold turmeric latte was delicious! Staff were attentive x
