From the moment we walked through the doors, we were warmly welcomed by a team that exemplifies hospitality at its finest. Loved the experience but meal was a bit ruined by adding heavily fishy broccoli as a side to a beef cheek dish. We didn’t realise the side came with the fishy topping. :( Thought the portions of main were small for price point. Charming staff and really glad we visited! Thanks!

We received prompt and friendly service without fuss. All 3 courses of our a la carte menu choice ( as there were 2 of us, this means 6 dishes tried ) were excellent ( eg. halibut, beef tartare, pork cheek. tandoori monkfish , baked coffee tart ). We expected a high quality of food and service and we were not disappointed. Our white wine was served appropriately chilled. The restaurant was busy in this lead up to Christmas and yet our server took time to explain the menu and courses were delivered in a timely fashion. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable eating experience.

The most comfortable and relaxing Michelin starred restaurant we have ever been to. Food, service and ambience were spectacular. Will definitely visit again!

Excellent service. Good freshly cooked and great value(good sized portions). Professional but friendly staff with great attention to customer needs. I would not hesitate to eat at the hotel when staying here.
