- TTinaSan Francisco Bay Area •27 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFood was interesting and delicious. We were delighted by all the dishes, even if we didn't love every component. Service was attentive but a bit "cold" though this was not an issue. Overall, a delightful meal. Would highly recommend a visit.More infoChez TJPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Mountain View•4.7

The restaurant offers charming spaces: a formal dining area with crisp white tablecloths and a serene outdoor space with lush greenery and a covered roof. It’s a beautifully relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely meal. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the spot for you. We visited for Sunday brunch, and while it took a little longer than expected for our food to arrive, the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, Baby Kale and Quinoa Salad, Shakshouka, and the Home Fries as an appetizer—each dish was delicious. The bread with the Shakshouka was absolutely incredible. While prices are on the higher side (approximately $35 per person, excluding alcohol and tip), the quality of the food and the laid-back setting make it worth the experience. Plus, it’s conveniently located near lovely walking parks, adding to its appeal.More infoThe Village Bakery and CafePrice: Moderate• American• Woodside•4.7

- SStevenVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe went to this little neighborhood French bistro because we couldn’t get a table at the more popular restaurants like Elena and Khao Tiew in West Portal. To our surprise the food and ambiance were better than either of those hot restaurants. It was a full house by 7:30pm and many of the diners spoke French, which is a good sign of authenticity. We had the ChouChou mussels and baked Brie for appetizers, and they were rich and perfectly served. Then we had the rack of lamb and mushroom soufflé, which were both astonishing good for a neighborhood restaurant. This will be our go-to French restaurant in the future.More infoChou Chou BistroPrice: Moderate• French• Forest Hill / West Portal•4.4
