- JJosephVIPPittsburgh •28 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoJess our server was excellent and informative. We had heard good things but this was our first visit to Pino's and we were not disappointed. Appetizers were excellent...fried calamari and garlic bread. We each enjoyed our pasta dishes. We definitely recommend! Make reservations in advance as this is a local Point Breeze favorite!More infoPino's Contemporary Italian Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Point Breeze•4.8
- DdavidPittsburgh •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAs always: THE BEST RESTAURANT IN YOUNGSTOWN. PERIOD. From the lovely ambience & decor, to the fabulous service, to the incredible food, to the reasonable prices - there simply is no comparison. From our lemon flavored salad, to my wife's ravioli, to my scoglio pasta (white clam sauce); Aqua Pazzo is truly superb. Thank God that the owner, Tom Zidian, did not sell this restaurant when he recently sold his Italian food factory next door (Summer Garden). Our waiter Tyra was lovely, friendly, attentive without hovering. The manager, Stephen McCulla, friendly & welcoming, introduced himself and checked on us several times. The pasta - perfectly prepared; easily the best we've ever eaten. We have never had a bad meal, never had a merely okay meal, at Aqua Pazzo; it has always been remarkable.More infoAqua PazzoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Boardman•4.8
- LLauraPittsburgh •12 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Dec 2024Four of us went to this restaurant for the first time before a Christmas show. My husband has ALS and is in a wheelchair and they quickly noticed and placed us at an accessible table and removed a chair for his comfort. ADA issues do not exist here - they were prepared and very accommodating. We started out with meatballs and focaccia with squash dip for appetizers. Drink list is extensive - it had interesting holiday options - but we just had Chianti and helltowne beer. We got chopped and arugula salads to share - I don’t even typically enjoy arugula but the salad looked interesting and we devoured them. They were absolutely delicious. Our entrees were tagliatelle, ricotta gnocchi, sausage and pepper pizza, and rigatoni vodka sauce. Everything was amazing. All four of us immensely enjoyed our meals. Gelato for dessert. Server was polite and attentive. It was one of the best experiences and amazing food that we’ve had in a restaurant downtown in ages. This place is a gem. We will be back 100%.More infoTalia Cucina RosticceriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- SSusanPittsburgh •221 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Dec 2024The first dinner my son wanted when he came home from Portland, OR for the holidays was Mercurio's pizza. So we shared 3 pizzas and a bottle of Nero Davala wine. Mercurio's in Fox Chapel is our favorite pizza place and we love the staff who are so energetic and pleasant. Happy holidays!!More infoMercurio's- Fox ChapelPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4.6
