Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Nutley

Food was amazing! The beet appetizer was fabulous and the bread board was a big hit. The warm bread and homemade butter was great! The dinner we had was fresh and cooked perfectly.

Let me start by saying that service was impeccable! Starting with the hostess being very attentive and nice, to our server that was 10/10! Food wise, we ordered the tuna tartare which was good. Not a classic tartare but really good! A very nice surprise with the tonato sauce, paired with micro greens and freshly toasted bread and olive oil on the table. We continued our meal with two seafood dishes and the shrimp and mussels were cooked beautifully. The restaurant offers a nice cozy atmosphere and did we mention that the service and the staff were amazing? Mr. Franco Porporino (the owner) seems to care very much about his restaurant and customer satisfaction and that left us very impressed. All the best and happy holidays, Anca & Liv

Very well accommodate… Granted my request as I requested of my reservations. And putting us in the best spot… Thank you service was great and so as the food… All my friends was enjoying it as myself. Perfect for date and and any special occasions… The octopus carpaccio and mussels was so good for your appetizers.. Very decent place to eat.. Will diffinitely be back..

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carmine's on 44th with a large party, and I must say, the service was exceptional from start to finish! The hostess made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the attentive service continued throughout the evening. I spoke with the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for our gathering. I highly recommend Carmine's on 44th for its fantastic food and outstanding service!

Great quality food and service. Set menu with wine pared with each dish. Was very tasty. Lovely atmosphere.
