Best Modern Southern American Restaurants in San Antonio

We had an amazing experience at Four Brothers starting from walking in the door. We were promptly greeted and even though we arrived early for our reservation we were sat immediately. The drinks were missed perfectly and the food was cooked to perfection. Our server offered great pairings and suggestions. He was attentive but not overbearing. Every time our water glasses hit the halfway point they were filled immediately. Highly recommend.

I was very impressed with our entire experience. From the decor when we walked in to the staff and the food. Very good food and drinks. Simple menu but very good. Many of the pastries and baked goods are made fresh daily by the baker in house. My wife and I would definitely go back.

We went to the Boiler House for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The tomahawk medium rare with the sauces were delicious. The brussels sprouts on point. Our amazing waitress Cynthia recommended a fabulous bottle of wine from Caymus that we enjoyed tremendously. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was outstanding. The great food coupled with awesome service has us wanting to go back sooner rather than later. We’re thinking we may hit their bloody Mary bar for brunch next weekend. It sounds super fun and delicious. My husband and I highly recommend the Boiler House.
