Best Modern Southern American Restaurants in Warehouse District

This was our first time eating here and it won’t be our last! Brandon our server was on point and professional! The dinner was excellent and the desserts capped off an amazing evening!

I’ve eaten at the old location several times and the food was great. This was my first visit to the new location. Beautiful location with a great ambiance. We ate lunch and overall had a great experience. That said my wife had the Puppy Drum Almondine and was thoroughly pleased. I had the Crab and Brie soup which was outstanding. However I chose the special burger for the day and was less than satisfied. It was a combination of two patties of meat which one was veal. I found it difficult to pick up and eat because the bun was falling apart. The flavor, while interesting, was not to my liking. I would not order again. Let me be clear, I like this restaurant and will return again. I just would not order this burger.

Such a friendly and accommodating staff. Favorites are manager Tink and bartender Braxton. Consistently good food. Parking lot is such a convenience!!

Impressive is the word that comes to mind. I usually steer clear of buffets because the quality of the food is usually sub-par. This was not the case at Palmettos. We were there for the Sunday jazz brunch. The selection of breakfast and lunch items were nothing but impressive. I tried as manny choices as my stomach would hold (a personnal pittfall with me and buffets) and everything deserved seconds except I always wanted to try something different. The setting was beautiful as well. We sat outside on the deck surrounded by cypress trees and next to the Bayou Bonfouca.

There is nothing here that I've eaten that I didn't like. Drinks are amazing and the staff is so awesome.
