Best Continental Restaurants in Brookhaven

We made a last minute reservation and were pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We love to sit near the fireplace, however there was not an available table in that area. Instead we were seated upstairs which was such a pleasant experience! It was much more quiet and formal. Our waiter was so kind, attentive and funny! The food was 10/10 as per usual. We enjoy the crab cake, baked clams, porterhouse for two, shishito peppers and lobster mac; it’s our “go-to” dinner. It’s always a pleasure to dine at Tellers whether it’s for a casual dinner or holiday celebration.

Thyme is my go to restaurant for special occasions. I had the tuna tartare and lobster for my main course and Brussels sprouts. My husband had the delicious halibut with an amazing mushroom risotto. The apple cobbler and chocolate soufflé with gelato was also amazing.

We went for Valentine’s Day and it was great! We loved the special menu, loved that the employees were dressed up and the extra touch of giving each table a rose. All of this made it such a special night out! We also loved that you checked our coats after we checked in for our reservation! We also loved the fact that you hold our leftovers until the end and if one of us was still eating you didn’t clear the other persons plate right away. Jasmine has been our waitress the two times we have been for dinner so far and she has been excellent each time! The food was delicious! We will definitely be coming again in the future.

We love this place and have brought friends with us who now love this place as well.

Platinum margarita by Lori was awesome. Joseph the server was very attentive and professional. Sofi the bus person a confident 16 year old was a delight to meet.
