- AAaronPhoenix / Arizona •6 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Jan 2025During my recent trip to Germany, I had the pleasure of dining at a Bavarian steakhouse that left a lasting impression. The ambiance was nothing short of exceptional, blending warm, rustic charm with a touch of sophistication. The service was equally outstanding—attentive, friendly, and accommodating, making the entire dining experience delightful. The food overall was great and responsibly priced, especially considering the level of service and the quality of the experience. As an American who takes steak seriously, I have to say that while the steak was good, it didn’t quite reach the level I’ve come to expect back home. I opted for the grass-fed Alm ox ribeye, which was flavorful but slightly overcooked and less marbled than the prime and Angus beef I’m accustomed to in the U.S. Perhaps the nature of grass-fed Alpine ox contributes to a leaner cut, which some may prefer, but for a steak enthusiast like myself, it felt closer in quality to a Texas Roadhouse ribeye than the buttery richness of a Ruth’s Chris or Maple & Ash. That said, this was by far the best food I’ve had in Germany over the past two weeks, and the steak was still very enjoyable. If you’re looking for a standout Bavarian steakhouse with exceptional ambiance, attentive service, and a solid menu, this is a great choice. Just keep in mind that the steak may not rival top-tier steakhouses in the U.S., but it’s a wonderful experience nonetheless. More infoBell’s Steakhouse & Burger Aschheim GmbHPrice: Expensive• Steak• Aschheim•4.8
