Best Dim Sum Restaurants in Western Addition

The roasted duck was the best we ever had. Salt & pepper Berkshire pork was tasty but a little too bready. Turbot special was outstanding. All the greens were delicious. Whole crab dish at other diners’ table looked phenomenal. We had the dry Riesling to accompany & even enjoyed the Durian dessert. Service was great. They are so nice! It’s loud, it’s small, it’s so much fun. We’ll definitely return.

What a fantastic spot! We chose Mr. Tipple’s mostly for its proximity to the Bill Graham Auditorium, but almost immediately upon entering wondered “how did we not know about this place?” The space is very intimate and inviting, and from the front desk to everyone who served us, the staff was friendly and efficient. The dim sum format was perfect for the venue and delicious. Oh right… and wow: the quartet playing that evening was five star.

One of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. Mr. Fang himself came to greet us, and then personally chose the perfect 8 course dinner for my friends and I. Best Chinese fees I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting San Francisco.

Absolutely delicious! After hearing good things about Z&Y, I made a reservation and asked friends to join for a double date. We ordered spicy dumplings, peking roast duck, Chicken with Explosive Chili Peppers, pea sprouts, short ribs and shrimp (that looks like a squirrel?!). Every dish was perfectly delicious. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. I have been dreaming of this food since we ate there and I hope to go back soon.
