Wonderful thick cream and sticky strawberry jam, heaven. Quod is beautiful at Christmas equisite in its tasteful decorations, enhancing its ambiance and the beauty of its building. Service polite. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. They also put a candle in my husbands dessert for his birthday, which I really appreciated. However, they absolutely need to do something about the toilets. In the middle of a cold, wet, winters evening it’s really unpleasant needing to go outside into the mud to go to the toilet in a shed in the garden centre. Not really appropriate for a £100 a head dining experience.
