Best European Restaurants in Scarborough

Great food, service and ambiance… but a terrible reservation system. It may seem like a small thing — but it’s the first experience. The OpenTable reservation system is terrible. We booked two months in advance — which led to innumerable texts, emails, push-notifications, reminders, and multiple confirmations of “I know we asked yesterday… and the day before… and last week… but are you *really* still coming?”. (It takes a lot to get me to complain about a reservation system… but it’s *really* that bad.) However, once you’re seated, the food, service and ambiance of the place is absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend the dining experience.

How to call other servers over to track down coffee and cocktails that had still not arrived when the food had and to be fair, they were not that busily at that time

We went on Valentine’s Day. They had a set Keanu which was a good value however only allowed for one app, one Main and dessert. Would have much rather more courses.

First visit for Valentine’s dinner and we enjoyed the meal. It’s a quaint cozy space so you’ll be close to your neighbour. Lobster shrimp pasta was fantastic, lamb was good. Staff are super friendly. Worth checking out.

Celebrating birthday today. Lovely server, friendly, helpful, detailed menu descriptions. Attentive service. Overall excellent experience with plans to return soon.
