- VVirginiaVIPPittsburgh •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoExcellent food! Rigatoni with meatball (prepared Al dente), fig salad is outstanding, as is the spaghetti with wine sauce and fried artichoke app. Apple calzone dessert is really good. No complaints about seating, either upstairs or downstairs, but downstairs can be very noisy.More infoDella Terra Italian BistroPrice: Expensive• Italian• Cranberry•4.5

- TTrishPittsburgh •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoBeautiful restaurant with fabulous food. We had a reservation and were taken upstairs promptly. We were excited at first - thinking the upstairs would overlook the main floor with it's beautiful living green wall - but were a bit sad when the upstairs area where the dinner tables are is walled off. Why???? The bar upstairs has a great view over the side thru a glass wall. Odd design for the upstairs. That aside --- the food is really fantastic and creative. My friend and I shared everything. We got 2 apps from the "dips" section --- a tasty charred babaganoush topped with crispy chickpeas; and roasted pepper pesto with whipped ricotta. Neither comes with bread - which is odd. You have to order their focaccia (or you could eat your dips w/ a spoon!) - which was fresh and SO tasty and a large portion. Still - this adds another $10 to your bill. (Eyebrow raise - paying for BREAD??) We got a "small plate" - duck confit - with perfectly crisped skin and a divine white bean ragout (reminded us of cassoulet a bit) & pancetta. The last dish was our least fave - the mushroom pappardelle. The cheese overwhelmed the dish. A FAB night. We'll most definitely be back.More infoFish nor FowlPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• East Liberty•4.8
- PPhilTampa / Central Florida West •2 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Dec 2024This was our second time at F&A. The carrots and the Brussels Sprouts apps were both 10/10. The three of us had the meatloaf, the skirt steak, and the pork shank. Everyone thought theirs was delicious!!! The only weak spot was the chocolate chip soufflé, which we all thought was an average dessert that had a peculiar sour taste. Our waiter noticed and offered to either bring another or replace it with a different dessert, but we all were so full, we politely passed. Dinner was so good we have reservations again for Friday (three days after this visit).More infoFig & AshPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Northside•4.8
