Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Old West Austin

Food was fabulous. We shared the brussel sprouts and had the steak. Steak was flavorful and tender. Had a great bottle of wine, half off on Sundays. We sat outside which was nice, except when it started getting cold. They ran out of propane tanks, so the heaters weren't working.

We always have the best time here. My bf & I brought his parents the first time & then mine the second. We’ve now explored quite a bit of the menu & have been so impressed with each item. We tried the steak special this last time & my mom will not stop talking about how amazing it was and I agree! Too notch service. Really just a lovely restaurant. I get sad when I see that they’re always booked out but happy because I want them to stay around forever! We feel so lucky that they’re in our neighborhood.

My wife & I enjoyed Saturday brunch here. We absolutely want to come back during evening service. Homey Moon has a great looking patio, and the first stop once inside a super cool bar that looks like a speakeasy and a western saloon had a love child. I would have loved to have a few drinks and test the bartenders, but, well, brunch is a little early… The menu, like the restaurant itself, is eclectic; but unfamiliar; a really nice change from the same ‘ol same ‘ol. The service was on point, with everything arriving on time and at temperature. The room is a bit noisy, so a meal here is more fun and vibrant vs. quiet & romantic.

Great deal on Thursday, half of chicken fried steak! They also have delicious Mac n cheese and the best strawberry cake! Very relaxed vibe, waiter was awesome, and they have a nice little view outside! Valet parking only ($6) bc they have very limited parking on site but may be able park across the street if needed

What an incredible experience, the food was amazing the ambiance was incredible and the service was top notch. I made a mistake with my reservation of 8 and they were able to accommodate what I thought was the proper time. Such a delightful experience. Can’t wait to come back. ✌️✌️
