- BBettyvipCentral Kentucky •104 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were greeted warmly on a snowy, cold evening into a beautiful late 1880’s home that is a B&B as well as a dining setting. Ramona took great care and had a wonderful personality to put up with the 6 of us. The bread, soup, salads, entrees, and desserts were all perfect, and Chef Roth came out to greet us. We toured the 7 rooms available, and all were very quaint. We will be back!More infoChez LyndonPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Lexington•4.7

So we had to swap to sample each other’s meals —and mutually agreed on the superlative award for each!More infoCastle FarmPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Lexington•4.5

- SShawnSouth Carolina •3 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024This was our second time at Holly Hill. Our first was on our wedding night and our second was for our first wedding anniversary. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the hostess and taken to our table. We were then greeted by Alicia who remembered us from our first visit, she quickly made us feel as if we were at her home for dinner. The food was delicious and elegantly presented. We started with the chèvre, it did not disappoint, we were immediately reminded of why we wanted to come back. The rabbit paella was perfectly balanced with multiple layers of savory and earthy flavors. Every ingredient was cooked perfectly, from the rice to the escargot. Very impressed by the attention to detail and execution of a dish like that where if one individual ingredient is over or under cooked it can throw a whole dish off. Not at Holly Hill it was technically executed perfectly. The apple stack cake was the perfect way to end our dinning experience, hands down the best anything Apple we have ever had. The moisture of the cake, balance of the not overly sweet layers and a texture packed topping that brought it all together well done kitchen. All of the food as impressive as it was, was equally met with the same precision form the front of the house. Alicia and the rest of the team that we engaged with were always very professional and courteous. The constant flow of someone checking on us, filling water, giving us fresh silverware and clearing plates were always done right on time and never in an awkward engagement. If we didn’t live 5 states away we would be dinning at Holly Hill weekly. We are very grateful for Alicia and the culinary staff at Holly Hill who helped us celebrate our special evening once again.More infoHolly Hill InnPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Midway•4.7

I’m a fan and we’re coming back with friends next time. P.S. Be sure to have a reservation.More infoJean Farris Winery & BistroPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Lexington•4.4
