Our first location Gjelina LA in Venice Beach opened in 2008 becoming a staple in the local community. In 2023, we opened a Gjelina location in New York at 45 Bond Street. A truly exceptional dining experience; we started with the beets and the octopus which were both delicious and had an excellent Californian Zinfandel, the kitchen sent us a complimentary pasta dish which contained uni and lobster, this was also exquisite. For our entrees my date had the truffle pasta which she enjoyed thoroughly, I was going to order the rabbit but after being notified it was not available I went for the duck which was very nice and perfectly cooked. To end our meal we shared the pear miso tart and a scoop of honey and plum icecream. This dessert was so beautiful it pained us to break into it, but the flavors were extraordinary and each bite was bliss. This delicious meal and wine, although pricey, accompanied by warm efficient service made for a perfect dinner and date night. Thank you !

We had dinner. I hear it’s a busy brunch spot but it’s been quiet for dinner the 2 times we’ve been. The wait staff is always super friendly. The yellow curry was delish! They just added it to the menu for the fall. Highly recommend.
