The prix fixe menu was very thorough and provided many fine options for all tastes. The wine and cocktail lists were excellent. Having a special Christmas Eve dinner was a stroke of genius and the owners of La Bonne Vie are to be commended for thinking about the adults during Christmas time. One of the many fine parts of the dinner experience was the "quiet" in the restaurant. The joy of having a sumptuous meal with your loved one in a place with the proper ambiance cannot be overstated. Her app made us swoon (yes, I got one taste, but I feared for my life if I tried for more). Main of Dover Sole was very good for me, but the truffle risotto for herself...outrageous! Desserts were masterpieces worthy of photography -- but we don't do that. As always, front/back of the house were top-notch. Hopefully they put it on the regular menu! And had the truffle burger, which I had a craving for and why we went there. :-)  Trowley on an amazing Wagyu burger, nothing more needs to be said.
