FOOD & SERVICE & AMBIANCE is top in class. FOOD: Always divine. Always get the ‘buns with burnt butter’ as an appy. The ‘steak tar tar’ and ‘Burratini’ is divine too as an appy. Second last time o was there I had the ‘market price pork’…mouth watering, with mashed potatoes. This time I had classic ‘steak frites’. It was made to perfection, their fries are perfectly crisp and salted, served with the perfect aioli. The steak made exactly as desire with perfect herb butter I can only assume was made in house. SERVICE: The kind of place where the wait staff will never serve you cold or like warm food, and will also make sure your ‘main’ NEVER comes out before every guest has finished their ‘appetiser’…the fundamental of good service. Also the kind of place if the wait staff who is not your server and sees that your glass is not full or your plate is empty, they’ll assist. Service - hands down top notch but should be the expectation wherever you go. AMBIANCE: It’s a piano bar, it’s modern, the lighting is soft. See the pictures to make up your own mind.

This is one of Toronto’s latest hidden gems (although it may not stay that way for long)! I came across Deauville Club from social media & the interior design of the restaurant caught my attention right away, let alone all the positive reviews. My fiancé and I are major foodies and would travel the world to try different foods so we’re always on the lookout for hot spots in the city! I decided to make reservations for my fiancé’s birthday and couldn’t be happier. Firstly, the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Revery Hotel & they have valet parking for free for the first 2 hours! If you know downtown Toronto, you know how painful it is sometimes to find parking, so this was already a great start. We went on a Tuesday evening so given that this is a fairly new restaurant, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our server, Zlata, was the absolute best! Not only was she attentive to our needs, but she was also very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. I need to also give a shoutout to the bartender who made us delicious cocktails that looked too pretty to drink. Let’s talk about the food. Every dish that came out was top notch - kudos to the Chef! From the creative design of each dish, the use of ingredients, to the texture and taste of every bite my fiancé and I were very pleased! We couldn’t decide which dish was our favourite because they were all that good. I ordered the duck, while my fiancé got the lamb. The meat was tender & the veggies were cooked so perfectly. The restaurant made my fiancé’s birthday even more special by preparing a plate of yummy desserts with a candle to close the night. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!🙏🏻

We had a wonderful meal here after the opera. I had the Icelandic cod and my husband had the braised lamb. Both were excellent. The Hollandaise sauce with mine was light and delicious. The accompanying vegetables with both dishes were not overdone. Even the olive bread was hot and delicious. Don’t know why this great place was not full on a Saturday night. Great value for reasonable price!
