The cost is more on the pricey side, but worth the visit.More infoL'Auberge Chez FrancoisPrice: Very Expensive• French• Great Falls•4.9
- LLaurelVIPWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe ambiance is unbeatable and the food was pretty good, but not exceptional for the price. The wine deal was great. The service was overall pretty good, but we had a few issues. When we arrived, with a reservation, we had to wait about 25 minutes for our table. We were eventually taken to the side room, so our table was nice, but I would’ve been disappointed if we’d gotten a table in the middle of the main area or upstairs because it wasn’t as cute and the main area was pretty chaotic. While waiting for the table, they suggested we wait at the bar, which we did, and nobody ever acknowledged us or took our order. When we sat down, there seemed to be confusion about who our server was and multiple people came up to our table to take our order and check on us. That being said, they were all very professional and helpful. I will say, it was my friend’s birthday, which I put on the reservation and reminded our (first) waiter, and they never did anything to acknowledge it. We ordered two desserts, and they didn’t even give her a candle!! I’ve never experienced that before, especially at a high-end restaurant. That was very disappointing.More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.4

- MMy-ChauVIPWashington, D.C. Area •79 reviews5.0Dined on 2 Jan 2025We celebrated my husband’s milestone birthday last night at this familiar “neighborhood joint” for us. As always the food and service were great. Unfortunately I was suffering from a stomach upset so couldn’t eat any of the wonderful dishes on the menu. I inquired ahead of time and was assured that they can take care of my dietary restrictions. I informed our waiter who went back to confer with the kitchen a couple times and in the end, they served me a very yummy grilled chicken breast with different vegetable purées that allowed me to celebrate my husband’s milestone in a very nice fashion. The team was very attentive to our needs and I really appreciated it. We’ll be back soon.More infoJacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez FrancoisPrice: Expensive• French• Great Falls•4.9
- SStephenWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024La Bonne Vie provided an absolutely superb Christmas Eve dinner program that took away all of the stress of the holiday season. The prix fixe menu was very thorough and provided many fine options for all tastes. The wine and cocktail lists were excellent. Having a special Christmas Eve dinner was a stroke of genius and the owners of La Bonne Vie are to be commended for thinking about the adults during Christmas time. One of the many fine parts of the dinner experience was the "quiet" in the restaurant. The joy of having a sumptuous meal with your loved one in a place with the proper ambiance cannot be overstated. We cannot wait for our next dinner at La Bonne Vie!More infoLa Bonne ViePrice: Expensive• French• Herndon•4.7
