My favorites are the escargot and the Catalan mussels and fries. My only critique: PLEASE get rid of the TV at the bar.More infoFrench RoastPrice: Moderate• French• Upper West Side•4.7

The food was great, everyone in the place was happy; we got parting gifts of chocolate truffles and roses.More infoNice MatinPrice: Moderate• French• Upper West Side•4.6

The staff was very friendly, bathrooms very clean. For starters my friend & I shared the ceaser salad. We each had a glass of Sancerre, perfect compliment to our meal. I ordered the Filet Mignon au poivre - it was perfection! I tried my friend’s Bavette au diane which was also fantastic. We shared a side of haricots vert- they were great as well. For dessert we shared profiteroles & the chocolate caramel tart. A great way to end our meal! Sooo good! The chocolate was not too sweet & not too bitter- it was practically perfect with every bite! The service was fantastic. The perfect last supper before my travels… Can’t wait to come back!More infoLa Grande Boucherie NYCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown West•4.5

The food and ambience were fabulous and add the great service and it makes it one of the most enjoyable meals of my life We started with the butter service garni ( I had read about it ) and a couple of cocktails, the drinks were lovely and the butter service was all and more than I expected. We had the steak frites and a spiced chicken Caesar salad but here’s also fantastic with a glass of the house Cabernet Sauvignon for he with my steak and a Provence rose for my wife very tasty I enquired about the opera cake ( it’s only fir dinner service ) but we turned our frowns upside down when the salted caramel gateau arrived and was a beautiful show at the table and was sublime along with a couple of lattes we had the most wonderful dining experience and by New York standards it was a bargain at $250 plus tip Honestly treat yourself to a great meal and experience and eat hereMore infoQuality BistroPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- AAutumnNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI dined here for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday with my mother in law. It was all of our first time at Cafe d’Alsace. The food was nothing short of amazing. For appetizers we got steak tartar, terrine de canard and homemade gnocchi. The gnocchi was so good we got a second bowl to share. I got the Grilled Scottish Salmon, my husband got Steak Frites (the fries are amazing!) and my MIL got Canard A L’Orange which was very tender and cooked to perfection. Apart from the food the staff was wonderful as well!More infoCafe d'AlsacePrice: Moderate• French• Upper East Side•4.7
