The quality of the food, the ambience, the temperature of the lighting, all of the small details that have been thought of to create a warm and cozy environment exquisite! Everything about Butterworth’s is wonderful and it should be the main dining establishment for the city!More infoButterworth'sPrice: Expensive• French• Capitol Hill•4.6
- MMWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI had an absolutely wonderful dining experience. The food was exceptional—starting with the onion tart, which had a delightful sweetness from the glaze and was truly outstanding. For my entrée, I chose the lemon pepper linguine, which was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced and unforgettable. The evening was made even more special as I was celebrating my good friend’s 60th birthday. The setting and ambiance were perfect, creating a truly memorable experience!More infoJackiePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Navy Yard•4.7

Who knew it was jazz night! Holiday season decor made it extra special. Great attention to details. - CClaireNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWonderful experience! My husband and our two friends made a reservation for a New Year’s Day brunch, we got a great table, but every table has adequate space between so you won’t be on top of another party no matter where you sit. There were coat hangers conveniently around all the tables. The staff is super attentive, professional, knowledgeable, while being kind and upbeat. Just like the ambiance and the staff, the food is incredible! From the coffee, the pastries, the mains, the drinks, the sides, there’s not a single bad bite, in fact, you’re more likely to say “this may be the best thing I’ve ever tried.” Couldn’t recommend this spot enough! Plenty of options that will impress those who like a special dish, but many familiar options that allow anyone to enjoy a delicious meal in a beautiful and wonderfully run restaurant. I hope the staff is compensated well and their value is well known. This place wouldn’t have the level of charm it does without them!More infoPetite CerisePrice: Expensive• French• Mount Vernon Square•4.7
