- GGregoryNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined todayHoly moly! Every step of our dinner was out of sight! Try all three of the bigger than one bite amuses, the tater tot was so fun. The tuna crudo was fresh, citrusy with a little crunch from the baguette. We shared the NY strip with a side of whipped potatoes which was perfection. We finished our night enjoying the chocolate hazelnut mille-feuille with brown butter gelato…. Good lord that was dessert afterlife. This is one of those restaurants that popped up on my Instagram feed a while back and it lived up and destroyed the hype. The staff is fantastic and our server Sia was a fantastic guide, super charming, and we just loved our time with her. Can’t wait to return. More infoLa SerrePrice: Expensive• French• West Loop•4.6
- MMichaelvipChicago / Illinois •70 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThanksgiving was good. Squash soup was excellent. Cheese platter was ok. Bread was excellent. Turkey was moist but overall the plate was just ok. I would have liked to have sweet potatoes of some kind and cranberry dressing on the side as I hate them and it was all over everything. Great cocktails and service as usual.More infoBistronomicPrice: Moderate• French• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.9
- JJenniferDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a true and absolute delight! My daughters and I loved La Grande Boucherie! It was one of the highlights of our recent Chicago visit. The food was wonderful, as were the wine selections (and mocktails!) and the beautiful holiday decor. We had oysters, the fromage board, a beautiful salmon, French Onion soup, salads and more. I had a lovely Sancerre, and we topped everything off with profiteroles. But the best part of the experience was the impeccable service. From the moment we left our coats at the front hosted stand to the last moments after dessert and a quick personal tour of the gorgeous second level, we were enchanted. A special thank you to Rachid from Paris for his terrific recommendations, allowing us to practice French and being a bright spot of our entire trip. Attentive, funny, kind! A server can make or break a restaurant experience, and in this case, the service shined bright! We would love to come back when we’re in the city again! Highly enjoyed!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• French• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- NNelsonvipChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIt’s crazy to think there are only three of these restaurants left in the world. We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites! make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being availableMore infoMon Ami GabiPrice: Moderate• French• Lincoln Park•4.8
