- PPavVIPNew York City •51 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe staff greeted us kindly. Unfortunately, they couldn’t have our table ready when we arrived on time so we had to wait 10-15 mins. But we were given a nice corner table. We ordered from the fixed price menu: pumpkin soup, chicken and ham terrine, mussels, steak tartare, creme brûlée, and steamed Christmas pudding. Food was excellent on the whole. I think the mussels were a bit too creamy and didn’t need that much cream. But the quality of the mussels was very good. Jasmine tea was of excellent quality! Table wine was so, so and we should have trusted the waiter on this one. We wished we’d ordered better wine. Service was very good overall. Nice atmosphere, good quality food and tea. Cannot wait to go back and try the burger.More infoBalthazar LondonPrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.3

From the moment we walked in, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were fortunate to be seated at the chef’s table, where we had the privilege of watching the impeccably skilled kitchen staff at work—it was like witnessing culinary artistry in motion. The attention to detail in both the food and presentation was outstanding, with every dish showcasing creativity and precision. The flavors were beautifully balanced, and the entire experience felt truly special. We can’t recommend this gem highly enough for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. - MMarkLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 23 Oct 2024I found this little gem of a restaurant for an early evening business meal and it didn't disappoint. The prices are very reasonable for London and the food were perfect sized portions and really tasty. My guest had the octopus to start which he said was excellent and the main courses of the chicken and the steak bavette (which was perfectly medium) were really tasty. We had the house red wine which again was great quality and a very reasonable price. We will definitely return!More infoGazette ChanceryPrice: Expensive• French• Chancery Lane•4.5
