Both our waitress and the waiter who followed her, whose names we unfortunately did not get, were wonderful. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had notified the restaurant when I made the reservation. They greeted her like family, with a warm birthday wish and a surprise birthday desert (the crème brûlée) that was accompanied by a card signed by the entire staff! Little gestures like that sometimes make all the difference, and that certainly did. Even without that, the food was outstanding, but the service was spectacular.More infoPalm Court BrasseriePrice: Moderate• Contemporary French• Covent Garden•4.6
- MMichaelHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve eaten here on a few occasions now and each time it has been a delightful experience, not to mention the food they serve is picture perfect and delicious! This time I brought a few of my friends as part of a jolly, the ambiance was perfect, the Christmas decor was out in full glory and the once again the food was exceptional, in particular the braised Herefordshire beef orgasmic! Clos Maggiore was brimming with customers, so much so we had to wait a little for our table. However by way of compensation we were treated to a really delicious glass of Prosecco which successfully sweetened the deal. My only niggle was that the sommelier was a little busy which meant the experience of timing the wine to the plate wasn’t spot on but in fairness the restaurant was packed! So overall we all had a really lovely time!More infoClos MaggiorePrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.6
