- BBrianSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was excellent as was the service. Our party had the filet mignon, strip steak, and mushroom risotto. The steaks were perfectly prepared as ordered and nicely seasoned. The risotto was creamy, rich and delicious as well. We enjoyed a bottle or wine from the large wine list as well as superb cocktails. The ambience was warm with a warehouse chic decorum. What made Modavie stand out over other restaurants we visited during our stay in Montreal was live music, jazz up stairs and blues down. We had a fantastic time and look forward to dining at Modavie again on our next visit.More infoModaviePrice: Expensive• French• Old Montreal•4.6
- JJoseeVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWonderful experience! Food was excellent! Started with oysters, then the cheese plate and as my main I had the bouillabaisse. Finished off sharing a dessert with my friends (can’t remember the name but it had pear sorbet in it) and it was fabulous. The wine list … some many wonderful wines to choose from. We all said we would return … drive from Ottawa just to come and have dinner here again. Oh … and I wish they published their playlist as the background music was amazing. Perfect for the ambiance.More infoLe Pois PenchéPrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- MMargaretToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and good humoured. The service was just right - neither rushed nor with any long waits, from first being sat to delivery of the check. The tuna tartare was so good! The blending of flavours was interesting and no one component took over. The hanger steak and frites was a plentiful and tasty combination. And, the slice of Marjolaine, 24-layered cake, was just the right size, not too sweet and with a good melding of all the flavours. Next time I am in Montreal, I will return!More infoJoe BeefPrice: Very Expensive• French• Griffintown/St-Henri
