Music was 11/10, creating a perfect atmosphere. The food was all divine done in particular the mussels a la crème… they were the best mussels I’ve ever had in my life and I do not say that lightly as I try mussels at every restaurant I’ve ever been to. The hugel reisling was delightful when paired with the duck confit and service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly with a great sense of humor. Could not have asked for a better experience, but I do have one question… I must know what is your playlist????

excellent service, excellent wine recommendation, soupe du jour was awesome and all four dishes were excellent according to my other 3 guests. The only thing was that my Mille-Feuilles was different but still very good. Also I would expect a different kind of music for a Brasserie Francaise, seemed a bit loud at first in the lounge right by the DG but not so much once we sat down at our designated table.

Came here for an anniversary dinner while celebrating in Montreal - our server was exceptional and very patient with the language difference, and actually went out of their way to provide service in English. Food was exceptional, we enjoyed both of our entrees. A cappuccino to end the dinner was perfect. We expected there to be live music, but we didn’t look into it too far and realized too late that the performers came on an hour into our reservation. We stayed for a bit savoring the coffee to hear the music, which was phenomenal. Pricy, but worth it for our two years.

We had an amazing time. We learned of Joe Beef from an Anthony Bourdain special last year, and in March of this year we learned we were going to move here. We’ve been planning to go here since we arrived in August, and were finally able to make it. It was everything we hoped it would be, and we were able to try some amazing dishes. Staff are extremely attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely the first of many visits while we live here.
