- KKathyVIPNew York City •99 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went to Francie for the restaurant week special. We added some oysters which were fresh and prepared perfectly. We got one of each appetizer, salad, artichokes, and consume. The artichokes were our favorite. They were lightly battered and nice and crispy. The dipping sauce with smoked trout roe was incredible. The salad and consume were also extremely tasty. The main course pasta was delicious and spicy. We also had a fish and chips. The batter on the fish was light and the fish was cooked perfectly. The French fries were some of the best we've ever had. For dessert, we had one carrot cake which was moist and not too sweet. The lychee ice cream was incredible. The chocolate dessert was also delicious. We added the cheese course and the assortment was very nice and the cheeses were at perfect ripeness. Would definitely go back again to try the duck! Highly recommend!!!More infoFranciePrice: Very Expensive• American• Williamsburg•4.7

Hostess was lovely, the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu she was able to offer her favorites and customer favorites when I asked her. The escargot was absolutely delicious. I've never had it before and needed to have the experience buttery garlic deliciousness the beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. Only small wish was that there was a green vegetable on that plate. Dessert was scrumptious. The profiteroles were light and creamy. Wonderful experience. Cannot wait to go back again.More infoAperitif Bistro - Rockville CentrePrice: Moderate• French• Rockville Centre•4.8
- KKarinNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Jan 2025Ive eaten here many times and its always great, but last night i was BLOWN AWAY. Everything from service, food, and wine selection was perfect. We opened with Andre Clouet champagne, which was drinking beautifully. The wine list at L'antagoniste is one of the city's best deals, and I paired it with the frisse salad, which had the most amazing dressing (cucumber sorbet!!! brilliant) and the decadent escargot dish with came with frogs legs and bone marrow. Then we moved on to a 2018 1er cru burg which was beyond perfect. We enjoyed the duck a la orange, which was modern and updated, the mashed potatoes was so good we took more home. The temp on the meat was perfection. Instead of oranges, they use picked grapefruit which is less sweet and oh-so-good! we also had the steak which was BIG, and perfectly cooked. I could not have been happier, and felt more satisfied. Thank you for a great evening!More infoL'AntagonistePrice: Expensive• French• Bedford / Stuyvesant•4.8
