- EEdwardWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFew places exceed expectations set for a newer restaurant but this was my experience on my first dinner at La Grande Boucherie. Filled to capacity for Thanksgiving, the service didn't suffer, the wine list well matched to the menu, and the food was perfectly prepared. The steak melts in your mouth, the French onion soup better than Paris, and oysters fresh, plump, and perfectly chilled. Outstanding. But nothing prepares you for the breathtaking ambiance! The sweeping staircase, magnificent Beaux Arts interior- you might think you're in Paris!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.5

- DDavidGreater Boston •12 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOutstanding service. We appreciated the description of all the courses, the ingredients and those not to be overlooked. to be missed. First off, I noticed that the server noted in writing my "deadly" allergy to oysters. The Thanksgiving special tastings was inspired so we now look forward to a "school night" dinner. Oh ! an easy to converse rooms, but maybe someone could fine-tune the play list..... Maybe a task with so many generations, from infants to elders, in the room.
