- CColleenChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI invited two colleagues to Aboyer as a thank you for their excellent work. We were greeted at the door where our coats were taken and then ushered to our well placed table. We then met our friendly and capable waiter who explained the menu. The fig Manhattan was the perfect beginning to all of the small plates that we ordered during happy hour. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented and delivered by the capable staff. I/we will be back!More infoAboyerPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Winnetka•4.7
- NNicoleVIPChicago / Illinois •55 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe ambiance is so lovely during Christmas and so festive. We sat at the Bar with Our martinis with blue cheese olives waiting for a table as we wanted to be seated by the Christmas tree. We began with oysters and the wagyu carpaccio, pleasing aesthetic, but even more delish. My Husband had the ribeye, which was a special and we ordered 3 sides; Gouda macaroni and cheese served in a copper crock, the haricots verts and frites, all so delish. I tasted his ribeye, but enjoyed all of the sides. My Husband had the raspberry sorbet for dessert accompanied by an espresso martini which I had as well. The piece of resistance (not spelled as pronounced) was it was 1/2 price wine on the bottles. We enjoyed a bottle with dinner and even brought another bottle to Our hotel to enjoy.More infoLa Grande Boucherie - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• French• River North (Chicago)•4.5
- TThomasChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024Perfect spot for a quiet Tuesday night birthday meal, trying some heretofore unsampled French cuisine in a comfortable and warm setting. Our server was conversant in all aspects of the menu and attentive to every detail, especially the water glasses and bread. I had a pre-dinner Jilly's Fashioned cocktail that really hit the spot, and the appetizers, beet salad, and entrees (bouillabaisse in my case) were winners.More infoJilly's CafePrice: Expensive• French• Evanston•4.6
