We found our new favourite restaurant in the city. I don’t even know where to start! Upon walking you in you see a stunning floral wall and then are met with the prettiest interior ever. Super clean, chic, and modern! The DJ was playing an amazing mix and the noise level wasn’t too loud, we found it perfect to listen to music while still conversing. The service here was unmatched, every single person who came to our table was so warm, friendly, and helpful. They gave us the best drink selection based on what we were feeling and same for food. The popping boba drink and lychee ones were perfect! We also admired how they take the time to explain the meals they brought to our table. We haven’t had service like this anywhere else. The food selection was unreal. The slaw was so fresh, light, and packed with the most amazing flavour profiles and textures. We also got the mushroom truffle risotto which was absolutely delicious and enjoyed. The star of the show had to have been the miso steak frites. Quite literally the best we have ever had in our life and is a must order. They were generous with the portions, everything was incredible, and cooked to perfection. We finished with the pandan cake which was the the lightest cake we have ever had and probably one of the best desserts ever. The berries, chocolate, and light chiffon cake all complemented each other well and it was perfect. They brought it out with a birthday candle and birthday shots which was such an amazing touch. The birthday card signed from the entire staff, also made my night and my 25th birthday all together. I can’t say enough good things about this place and how amazing they are in every category. They go above and beyond for absolutely everything & it’s truly the most perfect place! Thank you so much JADE

I cannot sing the praises of this restaurant enough. The service was outstanding, and the staff worked well as a team, with management adding just the right touch without being overbearing. Our server was patient, kind, knowledgeable and provided an amazing experience, as my parents enjoy dining out and this exceeded their expectations when I came to visit them and go out for a family meal I wish I could remember our servers neme to publicly give him the accolade. The coq au vin, beef bourgingon and duck were all done to perfection. The desserts were delicious!and they have oysters Chef Courtney ( I believe that was the chef the Sunday we went) and the kitchen team are phenomenal. The decor of this restaurant is a throwback to the true heritage of Toronto, as this estate house is magnificently preserved to take you back in time to when the Gooderham family owned it. Overall, a beautiful, flawless experience from food to service to decor and ambience. Kudos to the staff at Maison Selby for an incredible evening. Thank you for giving us a fantastic experience we will treasure.Maison Selby has a grandeur other restaurants cannot emulate. One of the best dining experiences Toronto has to offer. All the best to The Maison Selby team for 2025!
