Best Gastro Pubs in Northside

We sat at “counter seating” and I had my doubts because I felt it would be like bar type seating. For two people it is perfect seating. You can both see the action in the restaurant and yet be able to talk with each other. Our service was spectacular - multiple people checked in with us. Most people there were going to a show after dinner - like myself - the restaurant was on top of it. We did not feel rushed at all. The food was wonderful. We had fish and chips (not battered, but incredible) and shrimp and grits - both were fantastic. Our drinks were first rate as well. I had been here years ago and thought ‘it’s OK but with this visit (again many years later) I thought “I have to come back!”.

Was there for lunch with work colleagues. Server was pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent and not a long wait for the four of us. It was a little noisy on the day we went (12-1pm) which could be expected at that time but it was a little hard to hear each other & we were at a normal sized table.

I have been to Moerlein several times and have always been amazed at how great the food has been, and, of course, I love their beers, with the Barbarossa dark lager being my fav. Tonight, we went for their Veterans Day special menu. I so appreciate the great deal they offered. I had the Steak Frites, and the steak was done perfectly, was very tender and served with really crispy fries. Another great night at Moerlein.

We are from out of town and so happy to have found Vintage! We loved the decor and atmosphere. The food was amazing and our server personable and friendly. Great place to watch all the Sunday games. Our only regret is we can’t go back since we had to go home!

Service was awesome - attentive and knowledgeable and friendly. Cauliflower,broccoli and tater tots apps delicious and plenty for 6 people. Great beer selection. All of the chicken dishes worth trying - burgers just a sidekick and would pass.
