We especially love the French onion soup, the lobster Mac n cheese and the burgers. Staff are very friendly and very attentive. - DDougBaltimore / Maryland •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHad a great evening with exceptional service by Alex and very good food. We had the curry mussels, tater tots, baked oysters and Harbor salad. All were quite unique and very tasty. We especially enjoyed the Harbor salad which we split among the table. We also had the punch bowl which was a nice drink option but required some extra effort to finish despite splitting between 4 of us. Probably better for a party of 6. Overall it was a great evening at The Pearl.More infoThe Pearl - Short NorthPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Short North - Arena District•4.7
- WWendyColumbus •1 review4.0Dined on 2 Nov 2024Solid place to get food and beer, cocktails, wine, etc. We all enjoyed our food quite a bit. The eggplant, avocado/pineapple dip, and kale salad were good. My guests reported good burgers and fries. And my other guests enjoyed their salmon salad. The charcuterie board was disappointing, especially for the price. It was very underwhelming, and presentation was fair at best. All the beers we tried were actually pretty good. None of us ordered a cocktail. Ambiance is nice. Didn't love that we were forced (all of us under 5 ft 3 - to sit on a high top with our feet dangling) - had made a reso and when I inquired about the table at check-in was told it would be over an hour for a regular table. I wish I would have known and requested this up front. Overall, however, I do recommend Forbidden Root - and would return again.More infoForbidden Root ColumbusPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Columbus•4.3
