Thomas Makris, from the Island of Skopelos, fell in love when he met Helen Babalos. They met at Orestes Greek restaurant in 1974, while on a Greek dancing tour of North America. Soon after their marriage, they had a vision to open a place like no other in Vancouver; a Greek restaurant where everyone is family; where everyone receives a consistent experience created by delicious homemade authentic food and impeccable service.     Enjoyed every coarse, especially the beet and pear salad and the deserts. My husband is a connoisseur of roasted lamb and loved it . The service was impeccable! Will definitely return when back in Vancouver.

    Had a wonderful experience at The Greek. Took a friend for her birthday and she loved it! It was an unexpected surprise to see that they still had the Dine Out menu available which was great considering the items we were going to order anyway where already featured. The portions where HUGE and so filling and extremely flavorful. The servers were great and attentive, and we appreciate Katie for taking care of a couple of birthday drinks! Great spot in Yaletown to grab drinks and bites and catch up. Would recommend!!

    We returned to Selena for the second week in a row due to the fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Our second visit was equally delightful. The chefs here are exceptionally skilled and purposeful; I doubt there are better chefs in the city. Kudos to the entire team, and we're already planning to come back next week. The wine program and cocktails are also top-notch and added to our enjoyment You’re very happy to have had Josh and Anna there for our second visit !!!
