Best Indian Restaurants in Tranent

The food was great, and the waiter was very helpful. He offered us complementary items to our meal which were very good and which we appreciated. We think this is what some people may have interpreted to be an over-charge. However, for us, it was clear that those were additions to our meal, which was fantastic. It was the best Indian food I have ever had. 

Had an excellent meal with fantastic service on Christmas Eve just had popadom starters and then tandoori king prawn and chicken patia - both were delicious as was the cheese and chilli nan bread which was great as it was thin and not thick and doughy like other places. the vegetable rice was perfect too! glad we didn’t have a big starter as barely managed to eat all the main course. Service was fantastic and staff were very attentive I felt the prices were slightly on the high side (town prices) but the experience was super and we will be back soon!

Recently opened great location and atmosphere. Food was excellent and good quality wines provided price range reasonable. Friendly helpful staff. Place was busy but team kept up. Definitely recommend and return.
