What a lovely dinning experience at Charcoals on Christmas Day. The food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. The staff were very attentive and struck the right balance between ensuring your dinning needs were met and allowing you space to enjoy your meal. My family and I really enjoyed our dinning experience at Charcoals and will most certainly visit this restaurant again.

First time visiting Glasgow, and I searched online for a Christmas meal. I intended to have something different, so I wanted to give this place a try after reading all the reviews! Upon arrival, I looked at the exterior and almost walked away because the place looked quite run down and wasn't quite what I was expecting. However, I was Christmas day and was highly unlikely that I would've found elsewhere, so we went inside and glad I did! The food is one of THE best Indians I've tried! I particularly liked that the chicken had been cooked in skewers on a grill, and then you can add the curry sauce as much as you like on top - I feel this unique service sets them apart from other Indians and is so much tastier! There was a 20% service charge (as it was Christmas day, I guess) regardless, I tipped extra just for the sheer attentiveness, attention to detail, and attitude of all the staff! They literally couldn't do enough for you and made sure that you felt welcome and satisfied! I'm tight with my money and I only tip when I see fit! I was quite happy to tip them over the odds as they went above and beyond with a smile (this costs nothing but means everything). Best Christmas meal ever and it made my Christmas care free and peaceful. I say peace is my priority in life and this restaurant accommodated that! Even got a fist bump off the lovely waitress at the end of the meal! 💛

Great food and lovely interior. Chicken here is lovely. Try it. Please. You will thank me, you’ll say ‘oh that tasty kebab reviewer was right; this chicken is INCREDIBLE!’ So yeah, book, eat.. and ENJOY.

We went to Kinara for our work night out. The food was absolutely delicious, service was very attentive and accommodating. We ordered appetisers, drinks and mains and everything came out perfectly timed. Overall an amazing night, will definitely recommend and revisit!
