Best Indian Restaurants in Tower Hill

Truly wonderful evening celebrating our son’s 18th Birthday. Exceptional food as always. My thanks to the chef and the front of house staff for enabling my son to order his favourite dish from the brunch menu even though we dined al la carte. Fantastic dining experience in a unique and tranquil space. The service was second to none, very attentive without being intrusive. The space is also very comfortable and elegant without being pretentious. Last but by no means least, the food and cocktails were out of this world. The monkfish and black dal were mind blowingly good as was the biryani. Genuinely an unforgettable dining experience.

Overall good. I’d say some items are very overpriced, while others are more in line with what I’d expect for the area. Service was slow with a few forgotten drink a couple of times but everyone was very nice and it was quickly corrected. If I was trying to fit in a lunch in work hours I’d have been very stressed. As we were there for a relaxing afternoon I was unbothered. They were very accommodating of some of the group arriving at different times and adding a 5th chair on the end of a 5 seater table. Food is good, some creative starters. Not as many creative/original cocktail choices as I hoped. Not as memorably full of flavour as the similarly positioned (& slightly cheaper) Brigadiers round the corner. Would I go again? Yes, if not during lunch or under any time pressure, and Brigadiers is too busy to get a table.

This is the best curry house in the city of London. Really authentic curries. Will be back
