Best Italian Restaurants in Chinatown / Kensington Market

A group of us have eaten at La Pizza and La Pasta several times. As always, the food was terrific and great service. It was fairly noisy, however. Made if very hard to have a conversation with some of our more soft spoken members. Unfortunately, the industrial vibe in Eataly means there are no sound deadening features.

I had the best focaccia I’ve ever eaten here! The seasoning of the dishes was just right, perfectly balanced without being too salty, which is something I’ve noticed in many restaurants lately. Every dish was flavorful without overwhelming the palate. The only minor downside was that I felt a bit rushed when ordering food and drinks, as if there was some time pressure. However, I want to emphasize that the server was not rude at all, in fact, they were very kind and attentive to details. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d love to visit again!

Excellent service and delicious food. Our server Scotlynn( hopefully correct spelling) was very friendly and knew her stuff. Her wine suggestions were spot on. Coffee was outstanding. Very busy lunch spot and got noisy but I find most restaurants very noisy. Not economical but what is these days. Overall a wonderful lunch for the 4 of us.

We happened to dine at Cibo’s King West in Toronto on a Tuesday evening, with 1/2 pizza promo! Great location, ambience, food, and OUTSTANDING service! For the 3 of us bill was $40 !!! Despite the small bill, we were well looked after even after we paid! My elderly mother, who doesn’t drink and can’t stand drinking cold water, was offered a welcoming cup of hot water, right when we came in!!! How did the waitress/ manager know that this is going to make her happy? This is what I call going ABOVE and BEYOND. To be fair, we all had pizzas, so any other day we would have paid double, still very reasonable. We will definitely be back, especially at King West location. I hope we get the same serving staff!

Loved the zucchini fritti, the Margherita pizza, and tiramisu. Our server was also excellent. I found the appetizer selection was a bit on the pricey side and would have liked to see more moderately-priced options, but what we did order was definitely tasty!
