We recently spend an amazing weekend in Edinburgh to celebrate my birthday and couldn't be more pleased that we chose Mamma Roma from the 100s of places to eat. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite. One of the waiters even took time to explain the history of the restaurant. The food was faultless absolutely magnifico and at the end of the meal we asked a waiter if he could book us a taxi which again was no problem to them. Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Well defo be back 10/10

We chose the lunch menu and it was good value for money, food excellent and although the house wine was a bit overpriced it tasted fine. The atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and surprisingly busy for a Friday lunch time. The waiters are very attentive and knowledgeable. We had two friends were were gluten intolerant and the waiter was great in his recommendations. We have dined quite a few times in the past and would not hesitate to book again. Good location for train, bus and tram. See you again soon !
