Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. From a storefront selling imported Italian pantry staples with only a handful of seating to our most recent renovation and expansion celebrating our 30 years of Terroni, our first ever location got a much deserved face lift, elevating both the look and function of this neighbourhood favourite while still retaining its character of being warm and inviting.Despite its modern, updated new look, the original spirit of Terroni that kicked off three decades of authentic Italian experience lives here.

Absolutely incredible restaurant. The ambiance feels like you stumbled onto something off the beaten path. It feels like fine dining but the pricing is very reasonable - so this is somewhere you could go to celebrate a special occasion or just meet up for a nice weekday dinner with friends. The food is also incredible, we tried the duck gnocchi and the Bronzino which was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has classic meals with a slight twist making each dish feel unique and special but also still approachable. The service was very friendly and efficient. Our waitress balanced that line of interrupting conversation to serve us while also giving us plenty of space. It was a wonderful experience. They also provide complimentary coat check so your coat isn’t handing on the back of your chair. This and other similar small details made for a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend, I will certainly be going back.
