- MMarkLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe could not fault anything! Starters: Calamari and Gambero and both had risotto di mare for mains. Service attentive and friendly but not encroaching, food came at a perfect pace and was all so good. The risotto was just beautiful, my only complaint was that I wanted a bigger dish of it! Bill was £90 with service but without alcohol so hardly cheap but when you give 5 stars for everything, it has to be decent value! I've paid more for less enjoyable experiences.More infoFaros HolbornPrice: Expensive• Italian• Holborn•4.8
- EErikBrighton •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe simply loved our trip. What made it extra special for us, was allowing us as a family sit together and accommodate us earlier than our original seating time. Staff were brilliant and attentive, and quick to follow up on any concerns. The wine was lovely as well.More infoThe Wine Place Covent GardenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Soho•4.5
- SSimonLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe booked Marcellaio early, at 6, before going to the Ballet at Sadlers Wells, which is a short walk away. The entrance looks like a butcher’s shop, with all the different beef on display. In fact the name means ‘Butcher’ in Italian. The service was amazing and our waitress and the owner were brilliant and engaging. They are really passionate about their ingredients, wine and good cooking. We had beef fillet and this was perfectly cooked to order and served on a hot stone plate. We have eaten across the globe and this was amongst the best we have had. The truffle roast potatoes are super. We also had carrot, cooked in marrow and beef dripping - awesome. And some beautiful broccoli. A really nice red wine to go with it and all in all a great experience. We will definitely come back. Quite quiet when we arrived but buzzing by the time we left at about 7.10. Exmouth market is a busy street in the evening with a great vibe. Enjoy!More infoMacellaio RC Exmouth MarketPrice: Expensive• Italian• Farringdon•4.8
