- SsherryVIPWashington, D.C. Area •133 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoOlio e Piu is hot, both in atmosphere and food. The vibe is exciting and the food is outstanding. I love spaghetti carbonara, but most places make it gooey and thick. The carbonara at Olio e Piu was terrific -- from the al dente pasta to the brilliant idea of topping it with an egg yolk to mix in yourself. Cooked by the hot spaghetti, the egg yolk made the pasta sauce outstanding. The Fritto Primavera appetizer was a wonderful, gently fried riff on the usual Fritto Misto. The calamari was particularly good, as was the fried shrimp. But by far the very best thing on my table was the incredible Limoncello sorbet topped with Limoncello. I adore lemon sorbet and this was the best I've had since my first taste at the cafe at the Louvre. I was impressed and well fed -- and I'm looking forward to going back soon.More infoOlio e Più - DCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Washington•4.3

- JJosephVIPWashington, D.C. Area •41 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAll the meals were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our party of four. Larger pizza was very generous; took home half for another meal. Wine prices are quite reasonable for the DC area. Service very good, despite the Brunch crowd. Only real issue was the noise level: it was very busy, though, and people might have been really enjoying their bottomless (or very inexpensive) cocktail/beverage choices. One of our party uses a hearing aid, and the ambient volume made conversation with him nearly impossible. Not the fault of the restaurant, just basic acoustics and energetic patrons.More infoThe Liberty TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Arlington•4.7
- PPatrickVIPWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoClaudio's Table is an Italian restaurant in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC at 5441 MacArthur Blvd. It is owned by the fantastic Chef Claudio Pirollo, who also owns the French-Belgian bistro Et Voila. Claudio's Table serves great Italian cuisine, including pasta, meat, fish and pizza. I have eaten almost everything on the menu and love it all. The restaurant also has a great wine list and cocktails. Claudio's is known for its lively and cozy atmosphere. It is a very popular spot for lunch and dinner. We like sitting at the bar where you get to talk with patrons from the neighborhood and get fantastic service. Additionally at the bar, you can catch a glimpse of Chefs Claudio and Stephane preparing exquisite dishes. The staff provides excellent service with charm. The food is delicious! Claudio's is a neighborhood gem! PatrickMore infoClaudio's TablePrice: Moderate• Italian• Palisades Northwest•4.7
