Gigino Trattoria opened its doors in August of 1994. The owners, Bob Giraldi and Phil Suarez, along with executive chef Luigi Celentano, have kept Gigino flourishing in the ever-changing Tribeca neighborhood. Chef Celentano creates both the menu and wine list, with daily specials of seasonally fresh seafood, game and vegetables. Gigino prides itself on the fact that all their dishes are prepared to order and almost all their pastas and breads are house-made. Fresh fish specials are featured on the “specials blackboard” daily, and it’s safe to say they also have the best pizza in Tribeca! Dining at Gigino Trattoria is a pleasure every time!

    Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was great in particular the gnocchi which is probably the best I've eaten outside of Italy. I highly recommend it. Max is going onto our frequent rotation list.

    The service is the most attentive I’ve had in a long time. My server’s recommendations were spot on. All of f our menu selections were cooked to perfection. The ambiance is romantic, perfect for our anniversary dinner. Definitely returning to try the other menu selections.

    Locanda Verde NEVER disappoints. We have dined there nearly every time we find ourselves in NYC, whether for business or pleasure. It doesn't matter what the reason for dining there is, every experience has been fantastic. Warm, gracious service coupled with gorgeous surroundings make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The food is always on point. Seriously. We have never had a dish that wasn't perfect. The consistent excellence this restaurant exhibits is amazing.
