Best Japanese Restaurants in Greenwood Village

My visiting nephew took me here for dinner on a busy Saturday night. It was an excellent experience overall. A bit noisy due to how busy it was and the proximity of the tables. Our chef, 'Junior' was excellent. For his young age, he is very experienced and knows what he is doing. Everyone's food at our table was done to perfection, and there were no complaints. There are a number of courses offered and we were both very full when we left. A delicious, entertaining, and fun night out ! Thank you, Benihana !

Sushi is always fresh and delicious and atmosphere is lively and energetic. They had a few new menu items which included the kanpachi and matcha tiramisu. Both were outstanding.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant for a birthday dinner. The ambiance was lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious!

Again, as always, the food is the star here. There is truly no better (some as good) sushi in Denver or a many, even hundreds of miles mile radius. On this particular night, the crowd was bigger and louder than usual and the service perhaps struggled a bit to keep up with the volume. Usually the ambience is a little more peaceful and the design/decor elements are quite lovely. We go back again and again for the amazing foo, that while pricey, is Incredible. As strange as it sounds for a land-locked state, we have eaten all over the world and will always hold Sushi/Izakaya Den as the gold standard.

HIDDEN GEM! I stumbled across ads and recommendations while searching for a new local sushi place to try. Very reasonable price point and EXCEPTIONAL quality. After the first course, we started planning a repeat visit for an upcoming Omakase (chef’s choice) dinner, which they offer ~ monthly. The owner Jesse even stopped by to chat when she learned it was our 1st visit. Bonus: Basic hot sake is very affordable too!
