Best Japanese Restaurants in Malvern

On the bright side, the food is so good! The place was jumping on a Saturday night. On the not as bright side, it was extremely noisy. People were enjoying themselves but it was hard to even have a conversation because of the noise from guests talking. Wondering if there are any changes to the dining room that the owners could make to lessen the noise. Will still go back because the food is excellent but maybe not on a Saturday night.

Met my mom and brother at 6:30 for dinner on a Tuesday the week before Thanksgiving. Even though it was a weeknight I highly recommend having a reservation and get there early because parking  takes a while.  we had a really great server who was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some tips.  we ended up, ordering the spring rolls and steamed dumplings as an appetizer.  and shrimp pad, Thai spicy chicken, stone pot and a sweet beef stone pot as our entrées.  we were too full to get dessert. This is my fifth visit to Kooma in the last couple of years and it never disappoints.

Food was great with inventive options especially tuna dumplings. Server was excellent, she paced the sushi options one at a time instead having it come all at once-allowed us to enjoy each different selection. It’s BYOB which increased the value but prices were fair and comparable to other restaurants. Overall enjoyed our experience.

Totally enjoyed eating there. The decor was attractive & calming. The hostess & wait staff were accommodating & helpful to when we asked questions about the menu, which had a wide variety of choices. The food was amazing & beautifully prepared - everything was fresh. I haven't had wonton soup this good in years. The spare ribs were delicious! My walnut shrimp dish was so good! My husband and niece also enjoyed their meals. We will be going back!
