Best Japanese Restaurants in Kreuzviertel

I recently visited the Japanese restaurant KOI, and I must say I was quite disappointed. The sushi was served way too cold, making it less enjoyable. However, the biggest letdown was the tempura. The vegetable and shrimp tempura were barely recognizable as tempura at all. To make matters worse, the calamari was just overcooked in oil. Eating these dishes was practically impossible, as they were just greasy and unappetizing. On top of everything, the prices were quite steep. I expected much more for what I paid. Overall, I wouldn't recommend KOI based on my experience.

Great Sushi & Fusion Kitchen restaurant! Service is very attentive and food quality is super fresh with attention to detail. Nice room atmosphere with an open kitchen concept. Good guest community with an international upscale “flavor”. We will be back!

We dined on NYE and the restaurant was very busy. The staff did their best to remain calm and provide good service. The Peking Duck was delicious. Lovely decor at this restaurant.

A wonderful evening with good service and more interaction as usual as we decided to book the chefs table. It was interesting to see how the kitchen is prepared and everyone working in harmony together. The food was outstanding, beginning with several small tasting snacks, followed by 8 well balanced courses. All of them with great different textures and flavors. Some surprising combinations of ingredients and the wine pairing matching the dishes perfectly. Overall well worth to visit.

The food selection and quality of the food was really good! I do wish the food temperature was hotter though. Everything came out quite lukewarm/cold. The employees were all very friendly and overall we had a great experience, will be back again for sure.
