Best Japanese Restaurants in Waterford Lakes

Food, drinks, service, and ambiance were excellent! Food was unique and bursting with Peruvian flavor. Restaurant has a great vibe! Very cool place--highly recommend!

Wow! What a treat! I had heard great things, but this was my first time there. The drinks were exceptional and the food was sublime. Everything was prepared beautifully and it was the highest quality. I am thrilled to have this calibre sushi restaurant in Orlando. This was my first time having hand rolls and it will not be the last. I cannot wait to return and try some of the others. I had the crab hand roll and my friend had the Wagyu steak, plus we dined on shishito peppers and crab salad. We finished by sharing the truffle salmon sushi roll. All were otherworldly! I highly recommend.

Cal and Ryan provided exceptional service during our visit to Nami. Cal’s recommendations were spot-on, introducing us to a variety of delicious dishes that went above and beyond our expectations. The restaurant’s tapas-style concept is perfect for sharing, and we loved trying everything family-style. Honestly, we’re still debating which dish or dessert was our favorite—they were all outstanding! A big shoutout to the chef for crafting such an incredible menu. The service was flawless, with the entire staff working seamlessly as a team. Their attention to detail and coordination created one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Nami is a must-visit, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Let me start by noting that the staff is amazing, professional, helpful, friendly and they move like a well oiled machine. The experience starting with champagne at the bar area and the small bites with multiple layers of flavor and texture prepare the pallet and your head for an adventure. Moving into the kitchen/main dining area you feel you’re a participant as each chef and each of the wait staff explains the course as they’re presented. We opted for the wine pairing which worked perfectly as each dish was paired with a wine that compliments and enhances the dish. You finish in the dessert alcove and it didn’t disappoint a beautiful vino santo wine pairing. It was my wife’s birthday and the little surprises and acknowledgment by the staff made it an a truly amazing evening. I not going to talk about the dishwasher than to say prepare yourself for a taste and texture adventure.

Jeremy was a great waiter. We thought we had sushi in Gainesville u til we had possibly two of the best rolls we have had in recent memory. Very affordable saki and whisky flights.
