- EEmmaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWow! We absolutely loved this place! I had chosen this restaurant quite randomly because we had a show at the Laugh Factory afterward. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service and food. We ordered the 48-hour marinated skirt steak. The chimichurri sauce was incredible, and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The steak was done perfectly at medium. highly recommend if you’re in the area!More infoLa Perla ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Lake View•4.5

- GGeorgeChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined on 4 Feb 2025Amaru put together a restaurant week menu that was the culinary equivalent of a highlight reel. A bold and well-composed departure from the excellent regular menu, the $60, 3- course tasting menu exemplified the restaurant’s pan-Latin influence. As a four-person party we were able to taste every item from each of the three courses and every plate was a standout. All of the portions were nearly entre-sized and there was an exuberance in the flavors and textures that showcased the kitchen’s mastery. There wasn’t a single dish that I wouldn’t be delighted to see on the regular menu. As always the service was warm and attentive. Bravo.More infoAmaruPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.8
