- TTetyanaNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoLovely restaurant. We were there on a very cold day and coming from the outside into a warm, cozy, modern place felt amazing. We were offered a coat check, which was mind blowing for an American. We had reservations and we were seated right away , nice little table by the window. The restaurant was busy, lots of people enjoying themselves sipping wine and having conversations, so it was noisy, but in a good way. Our waitress was really attentive and pleasant. Food was great. I tried the bone marrow pasta, tasted delicious, but too much for me, and portion wise and “ too fatty “, in a good way though, I took it to go. My son really enjoyed it later. He also loved his NY steak. Amazing experience. I would totally come back and recommend.More infoJellyfish MontrealPrice: Very Expensive• Market Cuisine• Old Montreal•4.8
- DDabertteMontreal / Quebec •5 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoHere's the revised review with a brief mention of the table placement: We recently dined at Anemone to celebrate a special occasion: my husband’s birthday and our first wedding anniversary. Overall, it was a delightful evening with some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavors. The temakis were so good we ordered them twice, and my husband absolutely loved the gnocchi, calling it one of the best he’s ever had. The ris de veau dish was a standout for me—it was my first time trying it, and I was thoroughly impressed. Everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and truly a testament to the kitchen’s skill. The only slight downside was our table placement. We were seated next to a utility closet, which took away from the ambiance at times, but the amazing food and attentive service made up for it. Overall, we had a fantastic evening and will definitely return to enjoy more of Anemone’s incredible dishes.More infoAnemonePrice: Very Expensive• Market Cuisine• Little Italy•4.8
- AAlexandreMontreal / Quebec •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe main entrance of the restaurent brings a lot of cold draft in when someone gets in or out. The satelite radio is a major downer of ambiance, especially with the commercials between songs. Food is amazing, service was OK but we felt like we were bothering or that we came in too late. Might be just me, but I had a bad vibe.More infoMercuri 109Price: Very Expensive• Market Cuisine• Downtown•4.8
- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on 18 Oct 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.7
